Shipping & Returns

Please Note: Divine Lighting does not process orders on weekends or holidays.  Most orders will ship the same or the next business day, but we do not guarantee this. Therefore, if you have a lighting emergency, you should call us to confirm shipping time. If prearranged, it is possible to have orders placed by 5:45 PM EST ship the same day via UPS.

Free Shipping and Transit Time

Divine Lighting is happy to offer free ground shipping on most continental domestic orders over $50. Orders over $50 will ship free, unless one or more of the items in the order has been designated as not free shipping on its product page. If an item is listed as not available for free shipping, please do not select Free Shipping during checkout. Doing so will delay the processing of your order as we will have to contact you and arrange for shipping payment.

For orders that do qualify as free shipping:
If the package is under 1 pound, it will ship First Class. If it is between 1 and 6 pounds, it will ship Priority Mail. If it is greater than 6 pounds, it will probably ship UPS Ground. From our experience, most Eastern states receive their packages in 2-4 days, whereas Western states receive their package in 5-7 days. The Northwest takes the longest; the South the shortest. If you need your lamps by a certain date, please upgrade the shipping appropriately.

UPS Downgrade Shipping Policy

It is the customer's responsibility to determine the shipping transit time. For UPS, you may calculate transit time at their web site ( All packages ship from Atlanta, zip code 30341. Much of the southeastern US is within next day shipping range for Ground. Most of the eastern US is within 2 day Ground range. California takes 5 days via ground. You can use this information to guess how long it will take to receive your package. When shipping within the 1 day range, UPS still offers all of the shipping options, like Ground, Next Day, and Next Day Saver. If you choose Next Day, you are wasting your money. Rather than send your package Next Day and give that money to UPS, we reserve the right to downgrade your shipping. Either way, your package will arrive on the same truck. We considered refunding the excess money to customers, but that proved to be too time consuming. We will be happy to issue you a gift certificate equal to the difference if you request it. We have complained to UPS about offering special services that do not exist, but they were evasive. Unfortunately, it is the UPS computers that place the shipping options on our web page so we have little control over it. In conclusion, if you are going to choose an upgraded UPS shipping method, please check on their web site to calculate the transit time so that you do not waste your money.

Shipping to Europe and other Countries

Due to recent increases in postage fees, we no longer offer Free Shipping to countries outside of the United States. We ship internationally via USPS and UPS. We can ship DHL and Fed Ex in some circumstances. Please note that the USPS does not offer tracking information.

To Ensure Prompt Delivery

You can help expedite your order by using the same shipping address as your billing address and by providing a phone number that is on file with your credit card company (alternate shipping addresses and cell phone numbers will cause order delays).

Large Items

Items over 50 pounds, oversized items, and those that require special handling may not qualify for FedEx shipping or any other express services. These orders will be shipped via UPS or trucking services.

Any address correction requested after an order has been processed for shipment will incur a $10 FedEx surcharge for Express service and a $5 FedEx surcharge for Ground service. If an order is returned to Divine Lighting by FedEx for any reason, a restocking fee will be charged.

Delivery Time

Total time for delivery is based on the amount of time it takes for payment authorization and actual transit time. In addition, FedEx, USPS, and UPS delivery schedules are subject to circumstances beyond their control such as weather conditions.

Orders Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
  • Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may incur an additional shipping surcharge per item.
  • Some orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may require extra shipping time to reach their destination.
International Orders

Divine Lighting ships internationally via UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, and USPS.

Additional Information
  • The price in effect at the time of your order is the price you will be charged, plus shipping and applicable sales tax.
  • Products shipped to Georgia will be charged applicable sales tax.
  • For all returns, shipping is pre-paid by the customer.
  • If your order arrives damaged, we recommend that you refuse delivery, then notify our Customer Service department so that we can track the return and issue your replacement or refund in a timely manner.
  • Divine Lighting does not allow re-routing of packages while in transit for security purposes.
